Off-campus, commercial housing options are also available. Please reference Visit Socorro's Hotels & Lodging page, AirBNB, or Albuquerque Airport's hotel listings for alternative options. ISOTT will not be responsible for additional fees incurred when staying at a separate venue.
Please contact us at info@isott2024.com if you need support or advice for childcare.
Airport & Transportation
Airports:
The nearest international airport is Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), about 75 miles away (1 hour 5 minute drive). Link to map.
We are able to offer limited complementary “shuttle” transportation between ABQ and the conference site in Socorro. We highly recommend using this transportation, as ride-share services as well as train service are very limited in the area. As an alternative, you may consider booking a rental car. ABQ has all of the major rental car agencies, located here.
Visa
A foreign national traveling to the United States to conduct temporary business may need a visitor visa, (B-1) unless qualifying for entry under the Visa Waiver Program. Attendees are responsible for securing their appropriate visa. Please contact us at info@isott2024.com, if you require an invitation letter to accompany your visa application.
Learn more here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html
Visas may take up to 8 months to receive.
Dining
All meals will be provided throughout the conference, except one evening meal. Dining together with others in the ISOTT community is a key opportunity for interaction. Information on Socorro's local restaurants is available on Visit Socorro's Dining page.
